Program Guidelines
- Your event must be free and open to the public
- Your event’s purpose must not be fundraising for a project/organization
- Your event may not result in financial benefit to organizers
- Eligible goods/services must be directly tied to one-time delivery at the event (i.e. no lasting value beyond the event)
Approved Use of Funds
Funds awarded through the Belonging Grants Program may be used for the following expenses:
- Food/Non-Alcoholic Beverages
- Supplies
- Event Rentals
- Event Marketing/Promotion
- Entertainment
Prohibited Uses of Funds
Funds may not be used for:
- Alcohol
- Tobacco
- Fireworks/Explosives
- Weapons
- Controlled substances
- Personal bills & expenses
Eligible Recipients
Grants will only be issued to 501(c)3 public charities or government entities. If your group is not a 501(c)3 public charity, there may be opportunities to work through a qualified fiscal sponsor.
By applying for the Belonging Grants Program, each applicant unconditionally agrees to comply with these eligibility requirements and the grant program decisions, which shall be final and binding in all respects.
