Describe your role at the Foundation in a Tweet (280 character limit):
I advise program officers and grantees on program evaluation, impact, and outcomes. I also analyze data regarding the foundation’s grants, initiatives, and multi-year funding.
What do you enjoy most about your job?
I love that I get to play a role in supporting the organizations and programs that make our community even better.
What is one of the toughest challenges of your work?
Every nonprofit is unique so I have to continuously adapt to the different needs, resources, and capacities of each organization to help them evaluate the impact and outcomes of their work.
Where is your favorite place in Council Bluffs or Pottawattamie County and why?
Bayliss Park because I got married under the Oculus.
Who in the community inspires you?
The people who work hard every day to make sure that this is the best place to live in the entire nation.
What would you like people reading this to know about the Foundation?
We are constantly learning and using that knowledge to make better decisions about improving quality of life for every community in the area.
A fun fact about you:
When writing my dissertation I realized that I needed a calming, creative outlet so I taught myself how to sew and bake from scratch.
